The Iraqi government is planning to start from mid of March a new program aimed at facilitating the way for foreign investments and tourism by letting visa requirements for 36 nations as a start and also the Ministry of Interior expressed the possibility of increasing that number according to the economic, health and security situation in the country.
The list includes:
The group of permanent members of the Security Council (the United States of America, the United Kingdom, France, Russia, and China), European countries in addition to France, Germany, Italy, Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, the Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain and Sweden, in addition to the countries of Japan, South Korea, New Zealand, Canada, Australia and Australia.
